Tanzania

I took these images while in the expansive Grummet Game Preserve, a massive tract of land contiguous to the Serengeti. The Serengeti of course is famous for its diverse and teeming population of wildlife and this wonderful preserve boasts the same. The health of the animals here is a direct result of the protection provided by private owners and the strategic efforts of conservation groups.

One thing worthy of note, the elephants in this area no longer have long tusks— a genetic after-effect of the ivory trade.
